Jackson 5ive Apparel & MerchandiseThe Jackson 5ive was a Saturday morning cartoon series produced

by Rankin/Bass and Motown Productions on ABC from September 11, 1971 until September 1, 1973; a fictionalized portrayal of the careers of Motown recording group The Jackson 5.

“In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream.... and in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.”              ~ Michael Jackson

Five brothers from the blue-collar town of Gary, Indiana
Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael Jackson combined their ample talents to form the singing group The Jackson Five...

The group became a worldwide phenomenon, leading ABC to develop a cartoon series for the band in September of 1971.

Not unlike the Beatles cartoon, The Jackson 5ive featured the band in a series of comic misadventures, usually sandwiched around two songs per show.

Young Michael was usually the focus, along with his pets mice Ray and Charles, and snake Rosie.

Look beyond their unequaled chart success – their first fourJanet Jackson - Jackson 5 Shirt major label singles all reached No. 1 on the pop charts, they had a run of three years in which every single they released made the pop Top 20 and every single they released during their tenure on Motown reached the top 10 of the soul charts – and you find hour-long TV specials, an animated TV series, a extensive line of merchandise with the ubiquitous “J-5” logo in which both characters tailed into hearts, the popularization of the “robot” dance routine and regular cover stories in teen magazines. They rapidly became the pop sensation that Motown specialized in creating – and then reached new heights.
